The implant replaces the root of a missing tooth, whether it has been damaged (by carries) or absent due to trauma (accident) or gum diseases. The supplementary crown of the missing tooth, a bridge consist­ing of several teeth or a denture can be mounted on top of the implant. Hundreds of scientific publications and studies in dental implants indicated extremely high success rates of over 95% for the implant process.

Dental implants benefits

Dental implants are the most convenient and closest solution to natural teeth. Functionality: Implants restore chewing efficiency and provide stable support that act, feel and look like natural teeth. Natural teeth conservation: In areas where there is absence of one or more teeth next to which there are natural teeth, a dental implantation and crown construction above it will prevent the need for sharpening the teeth and root canal treatments in the adjacent teeth for the purpose of installing a bridge. Aesthetics: Dental implants give the feel and look almost identical to natural teeth. They make it possible to smile, laugh and speak with comfort and confidence again.

On whom dental implants can be

performed?

Dental implants can be performed on almost anyone. Certain medical conditions require special attention and consultation with our team. There are different options through implants: If you have one tooth missing A single implant with a crown is the ideal solution. Construc­tion of a replacement tooth on top of the implant constitutes an aesthetic and convenient solution preventing the need for sharpening and/or root canal treatments in adjacent teeth. If you have several teeth missing Rehabilitation of lack of several teeth using several implants and permanent crowns will eliminate the need for dentures which cause discomfort, bone loss and damage to quality of life. If you have no teeth Implants accompained by crowns as a permanent replacement for missing teeth and dentures: Several implants (6-10) accompanied by crowns provide you with permanent teeth and the capability of functioning and the feel of natural teeth. This solution grants optimal aesthetics, bone keeping, maximum security and stability. Implants for stabilizing a removable denture : Implants contribute to the stability and anchoring of dentures. Dentures without dental implants are not the best substitute for natural teeth. They are accompanied by gum bone resorption, instability, gingivitis, reduced chewing capability as well as general discomfort. Insertion of the implants for denture anchoring contributes to improving all of these parameters.

How it is performed?

A surgical phase, in which the implant is inserted into the bone. A rehabilitation phase, restoring the tooth using a structure mounted on the implant and a crown giving the appearance of the final tooth.

Procedure and maximum timetables

Extraktion: The jaw bone resorption begins to occur immediately after tooth extraction. As time goes by between the teeth extraction and the implantation, little bone quantity may be left which will make the implantation and rehabilitation process more complex. Many studies show that dental implants slow and even completely stop bone resorption. Therefore, it is important to perform the implant as soon as possible after the area heals. Max.   timetables:   Up to two months from extraction date to implantation date, for the purpose of the extraction area healing. Implantation : A surgical procedure in which the dental implant is inserted into the bone. Max.   timetables: 3-6 months until implant is prepared for the tooth reconstruction procedure (implant exposure). Mounting: a structure onto the implant. Max.   timetables:   One week - one month Crown: Max. timetables: a month or two.
